A small hand handmade porcelain plate with a etched lines on the surface. The plate is glazed on the top side. It has a wall hanging ready disc attached. This piece stands alone but like all my work works very well in a grouping.

Like all of my work this piece carries my makers mark on its side. h: 17cm w:1 7.5cm at its widest d: 1cm. Care: Holds liquid. Wash by hand.

This hand decorated porcelain plate can be used ornamentally as a centrepiece, or as a wall decoration, thanks to the wall hanging disc on the back. For cleaning, we recommend using a microfibre cloth and a neutral or mild detergent.

This porcelain plate has the drawing etched and engraved into the porcelain. The lines are then filled with black underglaze, a method known as Mishima or inlay, and a transparent glaze on the front of the wall hanging plate or disc. The drawings are from my sketchbooks from observed life and from looking at art history in museums. These come with a wall hanging disc already attached on the back. This image is inspired by Bonnard.
