We are thrilled to officially announce the talented artists selected for
‘For the Love of Art History’ Young Masters Invitational Exhibition 2025.
As Young Masters enters its 16th year, Cynthia Valianti Corbett has carefully chosen the finalists for this exciting showcase, which will take place at The Exhibitionist Hotel in South Kensington. The theme, ‘For the Love of Art History’ reflects Cynthia’s lifelong passion for the Old Masters, cultural diversity and the rich legacy of art from the past.
Our 2025 awards feature the Woman Artist Prize, given by Dr. Chris Blatchley and judged by him and prominent collector Lady Jill Shaw Ruddock, CBE. Additionally, the exhibition will include an Acquisition Award for the second consecutive year, from Brad Blume, President of the Rudolph Blume Foundation.

Gail Altschuler – Artist Biography
Gail Altschuler is a ceramic artist whose work bridges fine art and craft, inspired by art history, African influences, Cubism and personal observations. Her sculptural vessels and wall-hanging plates transform functional forms into storytelling artworks, featuring etched figures, patterns and vibrant colours. Altschuler’s pieces explore themes of human relationships, musicians, masks, and refugees.
Using techniques such as Mishima inlay, sgraffito, and underglaze washes, her work reflects a playful yet thoughtful aesthetic.
Exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, at Wells Cathedral and at the British Art Fair, Altschuler is a prize winner of the Wales Contemporary and a selected member of the Craft Potters Association.
Her art invites viewers to explore the layered stories and histories embedded in her ceramics.
