Drawing (Paper) Show

Two of my porcelain vessels

'Singing and The Cats or Los Gatos', have been selected for the

Drawing Paper Show to be held in conjunction with the Liverpool Biennial.

21st July to 12 August 2023 at The Bridewell Studios and Gallery. 101 Prescot St Liverpool L7 8UL.

Constructed circa 1846 as a police station, situated on the corner of a busy thoroughfare of Liverpool city centre and just opposite The Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Over the last 42 years many artists have worked or had connections with the studios and gallery, including Adrian Henri, Richard Young, Stephen Broadbent, Maurice Cockrill, Ian McKeever, Anish Kapoor and the singer/songwriter David Gray. In 2007 English Heritage gave the building a Grade 2 listing. The building itself became famous in the 1980’s as one of the locations for Alan Bleasdale’s ‘Boys from the Blackstuff’.
My storytelling drawn and etched, porcelain vessels are in the exhibition with many other artists that use drawing in their work including, Curtis Holder and Tricia Gillman, what an honour. The Drawing (Paper) Show is supported by the Ulrike Michal Foundation of the Arts.
