I’ve been feeling awful, horrified and devastated since the morning of the of 7th October 2023 when a tragic terrorist attack took place in Israel. Of course, like most people including many that were killed or taken as hostages, I sympathise with the Palestinians under the harsh rule of Hamas. I also sympathise with those that lost loved ones and those waiting for the return of their family members held as hostages. I am offering this plate called ‘Missing 2023’ as an auction on Facebook or Instagram   ww.instagram.com/gailalts/. All the funds will be donated to MagenDavidAdom.

Magen David Adom’s activities include:

• Responsibility for all Israel’s first aid training.

• Providing and maintaining Israel’s 1,716 ambulances.

• The collection and supply of 300,000 units of blood each year.

• Cooperation with the Palestinian Red Crescent.

• Sharing expertise internationally on dealing with mass casualty situations.

• Social-action projects for local communities.
